About the artist

Maja Przybylska (b. 1995) is a Polish contemporary artist working at the intersection of abstraction and Op Art. Inspired primarily by music, she creates rhythmic compositions that balance expressive freedom with carefully constructed forms. Her paintings explore optical effects, movement, and the relationship between light and perception, often creating shifting visual experiences depending on the viewer's perspective. Drawing inspiration from nature and the microscopic world, her practice reflects influences from artists such as Bridget Riley, Wojciech Fangor, and Frank Stella.
